Tiki's Story
Life
In May of 1992, I graduated from Western Illinois University with a BA in Public Communications / Human Relations. In November of 1994, I married Don Carlson (Belvidere High School class of 1986).
Our son Noah is 9 1/2, and our daughter Berkley is 5 (going on 17). I am near the area, and didn't venture too far away from Algonquin.
In our spare time Don and I enjoy riding our Harley, either by ourselves or with friends. Our annual family vacation is to a secluded lake resor...Expand for more
t 4 hours north of the US border near Ignace Ontario. Having an entire week of no cell phones, no pagers, no TV, no computer emergencies, is simply wonderful!! Except the year it was in the high 90's... I did miss the A/C.
We have done some traveling, taking vacations to Cancun, Riveria Maya, and the Dominican Republic. In January of 2006, Noah and I, along with another friend, traveled to Natal, Brazil for 2 weeks. The trip was amazing, and I cannot wait until 2010 to go back!!
